Unlike Boy Scout and Cub Scout units, Girl Scout troops are independently organized by their leaders, with membership primarily from one area school (although there is no requirement to limit membership to one school).
Most troops in the Chamblee Service Unit consist of one level of Girl Scout only; some are multi-level units.
How often do Girl Scout troops meet and where?
Each Girl Scout troop sets its own meeting time, frequency and location. At the Daisy (K-1) level, troops often meet monthly; many other troops meet twice a month.
